Kickoff - Getting started

Starting a campaign at a store is a challenge. between getting all the rules and everything else ready, unless you know every single player, you have a tough time gauging what the caliber of the players is going to be. By the looks of who I have in mine, this should be a great campaign.

I'm running Warlords at Avalon Comics and Games in Silverdale, WA...it belongs to my friend Anthony and has a pretty robust clientele for only being open a year. I know the majority of the players as 40K players, but I have not played many of them myself. All looked to be good players and I'm excited to get games going starting next week!

The meeting went well with most of the players that signed up showing. We went over questions on the rules, the mapboard, and the criteria to win. We agreed that turns would be done every Saturday at 1pm, with people unable to make it getting move requests to me by Friday. I will be posting pictures up here soon showing the board and posting the basic rules.

In the meantime, I am building terrain like a fiend to get ready for opening day! Four fantasy houses, a tower, and a mine entrance to make...will likely post pics of that process as well too. Onward and forward!
