Turns 2 & 3

A bit behind on posts for the campaign, but suffice to say, things are going well.
Most of the players have spent the first few turns moving and avoiding fights with the one exception being the Dwarves led by Phil. He has cut a swathe through his opponents and finally has a break on Turn 3.

We have had some discussion on terrain placement even as I frantically build more pieces to use. My thanks to Ryan as well for working on the pieces of the Fortified manor set. The end results are basic setups of d3+1 pieces with more if agreed to by both players. All pieces not preset by the hex (i.e. towers, mountains, etc) are scattered 4d6" from the center of the board using the scatter die.

There have also been some concerns about how difficult it is to get good things on the location charts. I will revisit those over the next two weeks to see if they really need reworking or if we are just dealing with unlucky rolling.

Turn updates:
Turn 2 - Josh's Chaos forces are leveled to a man in both forces thus allowing him to start anew in Turn 3 as newly liberated Empire forces. Jason loses half of his growing Waaaagh, but looks to come back stronger as his Big Boss promises to repay the favor on the sneaky rat things of Shawn. With more armies starting to flesh out to where they want to be, battles are getting nastier.

Turn 3 - Looks like the other Green Tide led by Andrew is about to get a taste of battle as Dan's newly battle-hardened Chaos troops caught him packing up. Juan's Ogres FINALLY caught up to the still tipsy Wood Elves of Ryan. Allen, in an attempt to claim the title of most evil, lays siege to Anthony's Vampires. We should see the first graveyard formed this week I think and will hopefully see the emergence of the Black Flags!!!

Come to Avalon Comics and Games in Silverdale where the gaming happens all the time and the Comic Talk is endless. It is the best shop on the Olympic Peninsula and has some of the best players in the area. See you next post!

Warlords Website is up!

The actual site is here!!!

This will house the forum as well as the map and the turn results. If there are any questions, please let me know! Should be an exciting week this week with the final player coming in and a lot of conflict queueing up!

Thanks again to Paul for getting this thing going!

Hobby blurb!

I need to give a proper "HELL YEAH" to Games Workshop for their latest hobby supply: New washes. For those who don't paint, this will be boring. But for those who do, these things are outta sight!

Straight out of the bottle, they will let you line a white primed model with COLOR instead of just black and it has a matte finish to boot. All previous inks/washes from GW were gloss coats, so it is a really nice change. I am using them on my latest projects and the models are turning out incredibly rich.

Citadel washes...UBER COOOOOOL! Get Some now!
